Pro Evolution Wrestling results: Saturday 5th October 2013 - Ross-on-Wye

With only a week to go until the Wotton Hall Club show in Gloucester, this event would see the Pro EVW Champion Justin 'The Hammer' Sysum defend his title against JD Knight. Each man had scored a win over the other heading into this encounter and this decider would see who would go onto face former TNA star Doug Williams on October 12th.

I wasn't at this show, but by the looks of the card I missed a really great looking card:

Results
  • 'The Shark' Chris Andrews defeated The Big Grizzly after a TKO
  • 'The Winner' PJ Jones defeated Pro EVW Tag Team Champion 'Dirty' Dick Riley (Magnums) (Jones' feet were on the ropes)
  • The Alpha Males; Iestyn Rees & Charlie Garrett defeated The Bruiser Street Mob; Gilligan Gordon & Matt Lomaxx after a Spiral Tap
  • Jimmy Meadows defeated The UK Dominator with a Crossbody
  • Richtor defeated Mike Bird with a Vader-Bomb
  • Pro EVW Championship: Justin 'The Hammer' Sysum (c) defeated 'The Saviour' JD Knight - Justin will now face Doug Williams on October 12th in Gloucester with the Pro EVW Championship on the line
Good to see the returns of regulars Chris Andrews; with what must have been an impressive TKO on the larger Big Grizzly; PJ Jones; with a sneaky win over a face 'Dirty' Dick Riley. This confused me as I thought it might have been a heel vs heel match. With the Magnums vs Alpha Males feud heating up I wonder how wise it is to have a face Magnum match at this time. Another welcome return on this show would have been from the 'Ultimate Rulebreaker' The UK Dominator; even if it was in a losing effort.

The next show will be at Wotton Hall Club in Gloucester on Saturday (12th October)... the main event of the evening will be the Pro EVW Champion Justin 'The Hammer' Sysum defending his title against the more experienced Doug Williams. Also the Pro EVW Tag Team Championships will be defended as the champions The Magnums will take on the newest and brightest tag team; The Alpha Males - be sure to get yourself along to this show. More (and up-to-date) information can be found on the Pro EVW Facebook page and if you follow them on Twitter - @ProEvoWrestling.
