An Improved Jimmo

Ok, so I haven't written anything for a couple of years (on here) and this needs to change!

The last year of my life has been a good thinking period. I've realised what's important to me and what really doesn't matter.

I recently spoke with a good mate about knowing what my interests are; a realisation that has freed up my brain to think about other things - starting this blog up - amongst other things.

I've recently joined the gym and this in turn has improved several things in my life: I feel great most of the time. I'm more alert and take notice of the things I'm doing and people I'm talking to. Going to the gym means I drink a hell of a lot of water, too. This has added to a healthier me!

I'm the fittest and healthiest that I've ever been. I think this is because I'm getting older and growing up. I never thought they would, but my priorities have changed and I embrace that.

This got me thinking of the Jimmo of 2010.

I felt that I was happy/content with how I was then; I had several 'friends with benefits' and was going out every weekend. I now look back at that and realise I was very angry at that time and not at all happy. I'm not the type of person who shows anger though, and would more than likely have bottled it up.

I now realise that I'm good, I'm happy with the way I am and the way things are; I have a beautiful 1 year old Great Niece; I go to the gym and look after myself really well; I'm motivated to do things and get off my arse to go places; I enjoy my reading and wrestling.

Basically, I know that I have a lot to offer now, when in the past I felt I had nothing at all. I'm not a 'new' jimmo though, I'm an ever-improving Jimmo
